2GIG IMAGE1

The 2GIG IMAGE1 is a passive infrared motion detector with an integrated camera. This multi-functional image sensor is designed to capture snapshots of an intruder based on motion detection. The image sensor requires a 2GIG Go!Control alarm system with firmware version 1.10 or higher and a Alarm.com account for snapshot viewing. You can configure up to three image sensors per alarm system. The IMAGE1 communicates to the panel via 900MHz RF so you will need to purchase and install the 2GIG XCVR2 transceiver. The Go!Control panel comes with a built-in 345MHz RF receiver so the XCVR2 will replace the existing receiver. The unit offers bi-directional 900MHz communications for the Image sensor, TS-1 touchscreen keypad and the Go!Bridge.

With an active Alarm.com interactive account, you can select up to 40 snapshots to upload and view. The images can be downloaded and sent to the authorities in the case of a break-in! Video surveillance can be complicated in terms of installation and configuration. The IMAGE1 is an all-in-one solution that is the first of its kind in the industry.

The Image1 sensor ships with two mounting brackets that makes it easy to corner mount or flat wall mount the device depending on your specific application. The recommended installation height is 6 feet and the detection range 35 feet by 40 feet with a 90 degree field of view. The Image sensor is to be enrolled as a security sensor under Q1 and set on loop 1 as type 04 - interior follower or type 10 - interior with delay. This means that the motion detector will not be active during Arm Stay.

The unit is battery powered by 2 AA Lithium batteries which are included. Due to the snapshot technology, you will have to replace them about every 6 months to 1 year depending on usage. It is essential to use lithium batteries since the low battery threshold is set very high. Alkaline will work but they will throw low battery alerts only a few weeks after replacement.
